Besides being immersed in the soothing and shimmering scenic under the ancient town lights while exploring Hoi An by night, many visitors can buy a few flower lanterns sold along the street, then sit on the bank of Hoai River or rent a dinghy, relaxing along the water and releasing the flower lanterns.

Although the flower lanterns are made entirely by hand from simple materials, and seem fragile, however, with the skillful hands of the old town artisans, from the colour to the pattern, the design is simple but nice.
