Eschuri Vung Bau: new 18-hole golf course in Phu Quoc

Situated next to Vung Bau beach, Eschuri Vung Bau Golf is a collaboration between Sun Group and IMG, the world's leading golf design and management corporation. The 7,508-yard golf complex combines the essence of Vietnamese culture with the natural beauty of Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island.

Eschuri Vung Bau Golf is considered one of Vietnam's most ideally located courses, taking golfers on a journey "from the forest to the sea" through its 18 holes.

Holes 1 through 9 are nestled within Phu Quoc forest, where ancient trees have been preserved. The greens are designed to be subtle yet unpredictable, giving players the sensation of exploring an ancient forest.

Holes 10 to 18 take players along the white sandy beaches of Phu Quoc, with wide fairways, trees, and ocean views.

The bunkers, strategically placed by IMG's talented designers, challenge players to think critically and aim accurately. These final nine holes feature more undulating greens, increasing the level of difficulty.

In addition to its challenges, Eschuri Vung Bau Golf offers opportunities for players to master their skills, particularly in learning how to manage headwinds and tailwinds to achieve better scores, including birdies and eagles.

Hole 14 stands out for its unobstructed sea view. The sunsets over Phu Quoc Island, visible from the course, are a unique feature that few other golf courses in Vietnam can offer.

Beyond the course itself, Eschuri Vung Bau Golf provides an immersive cultural experience in its lobby and restaurant areas.

The Club House celebrates traditional Vietnamese cultural values. The spacious waiting lounge features a three-door gate architecture, reminiscent of ancient northern Vietnamese temples.

CoCo Restaurant, inspired by the architecture of the Imperial City of Hue, accommodates up to 150 guests and includes a VIP room for 40.

The restaurant is also an ideal venue for events and galas with a capacity of up to 200 guests. The clubhouse, surrounded by glass doors, provides panoramic views of the golf course.

Eschuri Vung Bau Golf offers additional luxury amenities, including a 5-star standard locker area, saunas, steam baths, and jacuzzis for both men and women.

The course is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last admission at 5 p.m. The standard fee per guest is VND5 million (US$203.42), which includes the green fee, caddy fee, half a buggy, one light meal, and a soft drink.
