Vung Tau in summer: a sea of red blooms

Starting from early May, the flamboyant flowers burst into bloom along the road to the Vung Tau Lighthouse, located at the top of Nho Mountain in Ward 2, Vung Tau City. This picturesque mountain road is one of the most poetic in the coastal city. From the top, visitors can see the statue of Christ the King on one side and the sea on the other.

On May 25, Nguyen Tran Hieu and his friend, who were visiting the Vung Tau Lighthouse, noticed a striking flamboyant tree at a bend in the road about 500 meters from the base of the lighthouse. They were impressed by the tree because it had thick clusters of bright red flowers that spread out widely.

Near the lighthouse's base is another ideal spot for photos, where about 20-30 flamboyant trees are in full bloom. The red flowers contrast with the blue sea and green forest. As this area serves as a car parking zone, visitors should be mindful of their surroundings.
