Hue to launch open-top tour buses from next month
Hue will launch open-top buses running through famous tourist attractions in the former imperial capital from Sept. 1 to improve travel experiences.
The buses will depart from Toa Kham Wharf next to the Huong (Perfume) River carrying passengers past a series of tourist landmarks like Thien Mu Pagoda, the Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market, Tu Hieu Pagoda and royal tombs.
Buses are scheduled to operate from 8 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. daily with each trip 40 minutes apart.
Ticket prices have not yet been revealed.
Hue used to be the feudal capital of Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam's last royal family (1802-1945) and is famed for its royal mausoleums and other historic heritages.
Open-top tourist buses also ply Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Long.
