Kiss of the Sea, the most worth-seeing show in Phu Quoc
Every evening, the "Kiss of the Sea" show in Sunset Town attracts hundreds to thousands of visitors and is currently one of the most popular shows in Phu Quoc.
Hayoon, a Korean tourist, said this was the first time he had seen such a beautiful and emotional show. "I really like the music in the show; you can dance and clap along with the international artists."
Adriana, a Polish tourist, came to see the show with her family. She said the children were extremely excited with the performance with fire, water, and 3D mapping effects. She said the aerial acrobatics of international artists and the final fireworks show made her family feel extremely happy. They hugged each other to remember that moment.
Many Vietnamese tourists also expressed excitement when seeing such a unique and eye-catching show for the first time.
"Kiss of the Sea" was conceptualized by Sun Group, brought to Vietnam 8 years ago, and staged by ECA2, a leading multimedia show producer from France with experience in organizing more than 60 shows around the world.
According to Jean-Christophe Canizares, CEO of ECA2, "Kiss of the Sea" is the largest show in the world staged by the company on the world's largest sea-based theater, with a 5,000-seat auditorium, a 1,000-square-meter seawater projection screen, and a three-dome- projection stage up to 26 meters high, equivalent to a 9-story building.
"Kiss of the Sea" is the first show in Vietnam with a fictional storyline about the universe, telling the love story of a Phu Quoc boy and a galaxy guard. They came to earth through the cosmic black hole. The power of love and solidarity has helped the main characters defeat the dark forces that threaten the safety of the Earth and the galaxy. The story also contains noble messages about protecting the environment and rare animals, such as Phu Quoc's dugong.
This show is also considered by many media units to be the pinnacle of staging art when combining fire, water, lasers, light effects, 3D mapping, music... with the participation of 60 international artists. They are considered the "soul" of the show, as all five appearances stunned with highly difficult dances, elaborate costumes and props, and meticulous makeup. The combination of technology, music, and performance art gives the audience a "blockbuster" performance.
After "Kiss of the Sea" show, an art fireworks show was performed with more than 100 pyrotechnic effects and high and low altitude fireworks, on the background of the immortal songs "We are the champions," "Dancing Queen," and "Mamma Mia." Along with the presence of fireworks shows, Sunset Town also became the first entertainment complex in the world to perform artistic fireworks every night.
The story of romantic love, cultural values, nature, and people in Phu Quoc is told in the language of performing arts, and artistic fireworks every night have contributed to turning "Kiss of the Sea" into one of the most worth-watching shows on the pearl island.
