Tien Giang welcomes a large international tourist group post the pandemic
With 460 delegates, this was the largest international tourist group that Tien Giang Province has received post Covid-19 pandemic.
The delegation included leaders, officers and employees of Volvo-Eicher Commercial Venture (an India bus and truck manufacturer).
The Embassy of Vietnam in India associated with the Asia DMC introduced Tien Giang Province as a tourist attraction for the delegation.
During the visit, the delegation experienced such activities as: Taking rowing boats, visiting an orchard, listening to folk music, drinking honey tea, eating fruits…
According to Vo Pham Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tien Giang is implementing the plan on tourism recovery and development. In the first 6 months of 2022, the province welcomed about 350,000 tourist arrivals, including 9,224 international arrivals.
